Editing and Exporting Graphics
Editing graphics from Adobe Stock can be an efficient and easy way to quickly implement visuals into your classroom. Whether the course is online or face-to-face, adding these simple graphics can help enhance your material.
After finding and downloading the content you need, open the file in Adobe Illustrator (the file extension should be .ai).

Sometimes, files from Adobe Stock have all of the graphics grouped onto one Layer. If this is the case, simply select everything by clicking on the grouped assets once.
Then control+click (left click on mouse) the image, and from the menu, select Ungroup. Now all elements of your graphics should be on their own layer.

If some of the graphics are still grouped, hit command+A (ctrl+A) to select all. Then, from the top menu, click Objects > Compound Path > Release. Now all elements should be separated.
You can also lock any unnecessary background element by double clicking on it. Then, in the layers panel, click the blank space beside the eye icon. A small lock icon will appear. This will make sure this layer does not interfere with the rest of the graphics. Once done, double click anywhere in the area around the image to deselect and return to your original view.

Next, remove all unnecessary elements, such as titles and subtitles, by selecting each one and hitting Delete. This can be quickly done by holding down Shift and dragging your cursor across all unwanted elements and deleting everything at once.
It is important to double check that all elements of each icon are grouped together. To do so, select an individual icon by holding down Shift and dragging the cursor over it. Then press command+G (ctrl+G) to instantly group all elements of that asset.

Once each icon is individually grouped, it’s time to export!
